W O W ! ! ! !

I know, I need to post more to the blog than just Colton. So, I will talk about him in a minute. A big thanks goes out to my Mom and Lisa and everyone else who helped out with Jody's baby shower. About 25 people showed up for the turn out. Jody and I appreciate everything everybody does for us. We are blessed.

Colton and I went to a local racetrack for a practice day. He did amazing. He is a natural. All I have to say is check out the pics. We had a great day.

Yes its about Colton

I am so proud of Colton. I am teaching him motocross techniques. All he wants to do is ride his motorcycle. He is showing all of the qualities of a true champion. He definitely has a passion for it. I made him a small jump out of some scrap wood for his bicycle. However, I placed it out in front of him yesterday, and he didn't think twice about going off of it. He rolled on the throttle and went right over it. Keep in mind, it is only 4" off of the ground. Baby steps. We talked about racing his motorcycle last night, he says he ready to try it, but not on the big boys track. There is a motorcycle race track a few miles from us with a Pee Wee track.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures.

We have slowed down

We actually had a mellow weekend. Imagine that. Not much going on. Jody and I started to get the baby's room in order. It is our office, so we have to clear all of the paperwork and get rid of some furniture. Now comes the daunting task of deciding on a color to paint it. Jody is doing good. She is 27 weeks now, (I hope I'm right on that) It's getting close.

We are having some weird weather. Last week the high was 55 degrees, and Sunday it was 98 degrees. Fairly unusual for So Cal. Colton rode his bike all weekend, I think he put about 50 miles on that thing. He absolutely loves riding his bicycle.

Sorry no pictures.

It was a Daddy weekend

Colton was attached to my hip from Friday after work, until Sunday night. We had a lot of fun. Coltons cousin Kellen spent the night Friday and brought his motorcycle. We had a lot of fun riding. Colton is doing so well without his training wheels. After about 2 solid hours of riding, he still wanted more. It was all I could do just to get him off the bike to eat lunch. All in all, we rode bikes, motorcycles, played off road video games, went to the park, and read books. Mom got a little time in too! Colton woke up Monday morning and was upset that I wasn't there. What fun times these are. I am enjoying every minute.

We never slow down!

Another successful weekend of fun!!!!!!! We invaded the desert yet once more. The wind was bad at night, but not too bad in the day. I learned to fly again, in the buggy of course. The new motorhome makes life great. Some family friends came out to play along with Jody's parents. We always have a good time out there. Unfortunately, the desert season is coming to an end, and we will probably squeeze one more trip in.

8th Annual Easter Bash

Another successful Easter Bash. They are always so much fun. Everyone started filing in about 10:00 am. The grazing at the buffet started. We then all moved outside for hidden easter baskets. From there we had fun runs in the Dune Buggy. After that the Horses came out and we rode them for a few hours. Then, the motorcycles came out. We had 3 little bikes for the kids, (and the adults) and my big bike. Our friends brought up a bucket of lady bugs for the kids to release. Everyone had a great time in the wonderful weather. This is definitely the funnest holiday of the year. I am totally beat today, but is was all for fun and the kids enjoyed all of the activities. Thanks to everybody for a fun day!!

Its a Girl!

Well, we found out that we are having a little girl. We are very excited for her to come. Jody is elated. Looks like the beginning of July, maybe even a firecracker baby? Jody is doing better with this pregnancy than with Colton.

We just added a motorhome to the family. We took it to the desert with some friends this past weekend. What a difference, it is much more comfortable than the cabover camper. The buggy did awesome, lots of fun. Colton took his training wheels off of his motorcycle. He fell a dozen times before he got the hang of it. But, he is a natural now. Next step is to get him into racing at the local track, (instead of soccer!)

With all the toys available in camp, the trash can was the funnest.
