What a Christmas !

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, we sure did. We basically had 4 Christmas events over a 3 day period. We started out by having a Turkey dinner on Christmas eve with our Parents at the house. We opened a few gifts. Bobbi and Charlie spent the night and we had the usual mayhem on Christmas morning. We then loaded everyone up and went to Jody's sisters house and did it all over again. And lastly, we had Christmas with Paul and his family on Friday over and Mom and Dads. It was a whirlwind of a holiday, but fun for all.

Colton got a new POGO stick, he has already mastered it, a new R/C car, a fish and a huge list of other gifts. He also got a new beginners Bible that we read every night. Avery got a lot of new clothes and age appropriate toys. Jody got a bunch of clothes, M/C boots, and more. I got a new tire for my M/C, a gear bag, new stand for my M/C, and a list of other items. We are so blessed and fortunate with our life and family.

Enjoy the misc. pics

P.S. - Colton got a guitar and a keyboard, we will see which he likes best and get him into lessons. So far he likes the guitar.

Merry Christmas To All

M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S ! ! ! !

This has been an amazing year filled with Joy.

The biggest event of 2008 was the birth a Avery. Every where we go, people ooh and aah over her, and want to hold her. She is Princess.

Colton is doing very well is school. He has a great imagination. He loves to draw, read books, ride his bike and skateboard as well as going to the desert.

Jody is an amazing Mom and Wife who works tirelessly to make us all happy.

As far as me, Life is good !!!!!!!

Happy Holidays to all Friends and Family
God Bless
Mike, Jody, Colton & Avery

Post Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did. We left for the Desert on Wednesday about 4:00 pm. We stayed until Sunday. The weather was awesome, it did rain some on Thanksgiving. This was the first time in about 15 years that we did not spend it with family. However, we did join a very large group of friends in the Desert. For the Thanksgiving feast, there were 35 people. We all brought a pot luck dish. What a tasty meal. Just an hour after we ate, the sky decided to dump about a 1/2" of rain. It is all good though. The kids had fun playing in the mud. The rain made for epic riding conditions. Everyone had a great and safe time. Colton found a new best friend. Him and Kyle were attached all weekend. All in all, there were 17 camp rigs, and about 60 people with our group. All of the kids played great together. Enjoy the pics!

Almost Over the Hill !!!!

Well, I was totally surprised on Saturday, Jody had successfully organized a surprise party for me. Yes I will be 40 on Thanksgiving Day. I was pleasantly surprised. About 40 friends and family showed up. Everyone had a blast.

As you can see, the boys know how to party. Even after they put there PJ's on, they continued to tip'em back. They definitely can hold there own.

Thanks to everyone, I am blessed with a great family and wonderful friends.

We are headed out to the desert on Thursday for the long weekend. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy it with Family and Friends. I am thankful for my family, friends and health.

Kam 1964-2008

We lost our friend Kam last Saturday Nov 8,2008. She once lived on our property with her boyfriend Reed. They decided to move to Texas to start a new life in 2007. It was a tragic accident and she will be missed by many including her mother, sister as well as many close friends here in SD and Texas. Her laugh was contagious and her smile was filled with life. She loved her horses and Reed dearly. These pics are of one of the fondest times in our relationship. It was beautiful Bishop CA. We went fishing with them and Reed taught me how to stream/creek fish. As for the baiting well lets just say I couldn't have done it without Kam. Mike and I will never forget the fun we had. Kam became a part of our family for the time she was here and our heart greives. Time will only heal and our prayers and thoughts go our to her family and Reed. Please join us in these thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

H A L L O W E E N ! ! !

We had a great weekend. Check out Avery, she is in a Doll Stroller that fits her perfectly. She had such a good time laughing and giggling. Colton had a carnival at his school on Friday. What fun that was. Colton dressed up as his favorite MX Racer, Chad Reed. Avery was a kitty cat. Colton has his first crush, Nicole, she is 10 years old. He adores her. Also here is a pic of Mrs. Thompson, she is one of his favorite teachers, she is great. After the Carnival, we headed to Main St Ramona for Trick or Treating. A very safe way for kids and families to have fun. All of the businesses set up outside and pass out candy, what a great way to people watch. Jody also wore he R2-D2 costume she made 10 years ago. I think most of Ramona was there, it was packed but always fun. After that we went to Jody's Parents for neighborhood trick or treating. I think we ended up with 10 lbs. of candy. We had our friends Steve, Tracy and Kaden, also Marc, Ronnie and Merrick out on Saturday for some friendly fun. Needless to say, we had a busy weekend.

First DEZ trip of the season

We had our first desert trip of the season this past weekend. A lot of friends showed up, 25 total for fun in the sun. The weather was a little toasty in the day, but was very pleasant. Everyone had a good time just hangin out, riding the toys around, eating and visiting. Avery did awesome, she is definitely a "Desert Diva", she loves the outdoors and being in the motorhome. We had a birthday party for Marc and Ronnies son Merrick, he turned three. Marcs Mom Marcia came out from Nebraska, she is like a second Mom to me. Always good to see her. Jody's sisters and family joined us too. Long time friend Steve and his family were there too. Mamaw and Papaw came out for the afternoon and dinner. Thanks to everyone, we had a great time!
