It was a Daddy weekend

Colton was attached to my hip from Friday after work, until Sunday night. We had a lot of fun. Coltons cousin Kellen spent the night Friday and brought his motorcycle. We had a lot of fun riding. Colton is doing so well without his training wheels. After about 2 solid hours of riding, he still wanted more. It was all I could do just to get him off the bike to eat lunch. All in all, we rode bikes, motorcycles, played off road video games, went to the park, and read books. Mom got a little time in too! Colton woke up Monday morning and was upset that I wasn't there. What fun times these are. I am enjoying every minute.

We never slow down!

Another successful weekend of fun!!!!!!! We invaded the desert yet once more. The wind was bad at night, but not too bad in the day. I learned to fly again, in the buggy of course. The new motorhome makes life great. Some family friends came out to play along with Jody's parents. We always have a good time out there. Unfortunately, the desert season is coming to an end, and we will probably squeeze one more trip in.

8th Annual Easter Bash

Another successful Easter Bash. They are always so much fun. Everyone started filing in about 10:00 am. The grazing at the buffet started. We then all moved outside for hidden easter baskets. From there we had fun runs in the Dune Buggy. After that the Horses came out and we rode them for a few hours. Then, the motorcycles came out. We had 3 little bikes for the kids, (and the adults) and my big bike. Our friends brought up a bucket of lady bugs for the kids to release. Everyone had a great time in the wonderful weather. This is definitely the funnest holiday of the year. I am totally beat today, but is was all for fun and the kids enjoyed all of the activities. Thanks to everybody for a fun day!!

Its a Girl!

Well, we found out that we are having a little girl. We are very excited for her to come. Jody is elated. Looks like the beginning of July, maybe even a firecracker baby? Jody is doing better with this pregnancy than with Colton.

We just added a motorhome to the family. We took it to the desert with some friends this past weekend. What a difference, it is much more comfortable than the cabover camper. The buggy did awesome, lots of fun. Colton took his training wheels off of his motorcycle. He fell a dozen times before he got the hang of it. But, he is a natural now. Next step is to get him into racing at the local track, (instead of soccer!)

With all the toys available in camp, the trash can was the funnest.

Presidents Weekend at Superstition Mtns

Finally took the buggy out for the shakedown run. It performed awesome and rides well. We all had a blast. The weather was 80 in the day. We put alot of miles on the car, blasting down sand washes, cruising the dunes, and hammering it thru the whoops at 65mph. Colton and Jody enjoyed it too. The 11 month build paid off this weekend, well worth the time, effort and money put into it. Colton fell asleep the last 45 minutes of a 50 mile ride, the motion put him right to sleep.

Catching Up!

We have been really swamped lately. We have all been under the weather. Not much to update, Jody is doing well. Colton is smarter and wiser than the both of us put together. I am banking on him to help out with the baby when the time comes. The weather has been wetter and cooler than usual. I finally drove our new buggy around the block. I now need to work out the bugs before I take it to the desert. Hope all is well with everyone!

New Years Fun

Happy New Year to everyone!! We went to the desert for the weekend. The weather was great! 70 in the day and 35 at night. Colton is improving on his motorcycle skills rapidly. He did take a few spills though, but got back on and kept going. Colton and I went on several 10 mile rides across the desert. He enjoys riding through the "whoopdy doos" the most. As you can see, he fades into his own wreck at night. I didn't get our dunebuggy done yet, but we did get to take our friends buggy for a ride.

Oh yeah, Colton wants to start playing the guitar.
